BUG slug issue

i find that if a user submits an event with location, when published looking in database wp_em_locations no SLUG is created it just shows NULL, this then causes no location to show on LOCATIONS page and also seems to cause my other issue.

If as an admin i create an event with location a slug is put in database and i get no issues

For it to show in page LOCATIONS as with other issue i have to go into admin events/location open the location then click update.

it seems publishing is not enough, you have to reopen then update too.then also it shows a slug in databse wp_em_locations

again updating after publishing solves, as it then gets a slug location-2

Looking now at other events created by users, none of the locations are showing on LOCATIONS page and none have slugs in database, just updated all and now all have slugs and all are showing on LOCATIONS page.
