We really appreciate your feedback, and sorry to hear the plugin wasn’t a good fit. We do reserve some features for the Pro version, and have to offer a Pro version due to the time and cost involved in supporting and updating the plugin due to continual changes in the Twitter platform and the large support burden that comes with that. It’s definitely difficult to strike a balance between which features are included in the free version, but we felt it was important not to limit the number of Tweets or feeds that you could display and instead just limit some of the display options, as many users will tend to only Tweet text or links – both of which are supported by this free plugin.
We understand though that some users would prefer to have certain features included in the free version and certainly respect and appreciate your feedback on that.
Regarding the slowed down admin, I’m sorry to hear about the issue here. We haven’t had this issue reported before and so would love the opportunity to dig into it further to see whether there’s an issue here that we can fix for you. Would you be willing to submit a support ticket via our website (just select the free version in the dropdown) so that our support team can help?
