    Hello,

    I sent a report because the reading of mp4 is extremely slow on my site, I do not understand why, I tried everything but without success thank you for your help

    Ask your host provider if he has limited bandwith for mp4 or other video files. This is not a cache plugin issue.

    Hello,

    Precisely there is no limitation, I did the test by cloning my site at my host, the plugin on my clone site is present but not attached to the lite speed server of my host, the videos start normally.
    If I attach my clone site to the lite speed server of the host, the problem appears.
    If I launch a video either it appears after 30 to 40 seconds, sometimes 1 minute, or else I have to restart 10 seconds later and it starts normally.

    I honestly don’t see anything that could affect mp4 from the plugin , unless that mp4 is generating-on-fly by a PHP script ?

    what does it happen with plugin disabled ?

    I cloned my site, test before connecting to lite speed cache of my host, video playback is immediate. After I linked the clone to my host’s lite speed server, here are the results:
    Video playback 20 sec for loading and then very smooth playback
    Disabling all plugins, video playback is done after 20sec in a very fluid way.

    you mean with all plugin OFF , first 20 seconds is slow and after 20 seconds it’s good ?

    There is always a pre-loading time of 20 seconds and then the videos start. I thought of a conflict but the only plugin I left is ultimate member

    yeah , this is not plugin issue , but server issue

    please check your hosting provider for further assistance

    After a further analysis on the lite speed server, it better accepts video formats compressed in webm, if it’s in mp4 it’s complicated depending on the tot of compression or frame

    Question is it possible to isolate videos from lite speed, so I can see if they read better

    you can try some CDN service to offload the mp4 files there and see how it goes

    I installed and tested it does not change anything, small question is that I must enter the CDn address, I ask because I do not have it on Quic Cloud
