Slow loading page

    Hey!

    I recently installed GeoDirectory and I have a problem. I imported into the plugin over 6.7k category and the page started to load very slowly. By turning off the plug, everything returns to normal, can you tell me what is the reason for slow loading of the page? The site is at sledzeniepaczki.pl.

    A) I installed a WP + plug-in GeoDirectory and I dropped about 6.5k category, the page slowed by 90%, in the table wp_term_taxonomy -> taxonomy column is: gd_placecategory

    B) I installed WP, ​​I put exactly the same 6.5k category -> in the table wp_term_taxonomy -> taxonomy column is: category -> page works as it should.

    My server :

    1 vCore
    2,4 GHz
    2 GB RAM
    SSD 10 GB
    100 Mbps
    Local Raid 10

    p.s.

    if you don’t mind me asking, why do you need 6.5k categories?

    I’m asking because I’m curious and I’ve never came across a directory with that many categories.

    What industry will it be about?

    Maybe we could help you find a more suitable structure.

    Another problem is setting the location of the place.

    I set my default location to Warsaw.

    When I introduce a new object, I want to add it in Cracow and click Set Address on map receives the message:

    Please choose any address of the (Warsaw) city only.

    P.S How will I run the project will show you it;)

    for the second question, you’ll need the location manager: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/

    The free plugin allows for 1 city only.

    Hi everybody,
    could you please keep focused on the the matter of current thread (Slow loading page)?
    I use GD with Location Manager and are facing big slowdowns both in front- and back-office.

    Still not sure if they’ re due to these plugins (just a suspect) and will do some investigation next week so I’m interested if other users have problems related to loading speed.
