• Hello,

I have no idea what’s happenening on my wordpress site but once I upload a picture 40kb or I post something, the whole site goes offline for like 2 mins. I have another site on the same hosting/server and it’s always online.

I asked the hosting company and they said try to see the plugins I disabled wp-super cache and still the problem there.

What can i do ? Please help, I am losing a lot of visitors.

  • Do you know why your question did not get any response? That’s because there is not enough information.

Tell us what version of WordPress your are running and what are the plug-ins used. Also some details of the theme you are using. How big is your database? what is your hosting configuration? Etc etc.

Then someone could help you to pin point the problem.

I am using the following Plugins with the latest wordpress version :

    – All in one SEO
    – get the image
    – Faster Image insert
    – google XML
    – my youtube playlist
    – Quick cache
    – Auto tags
    – Tabs slide
    – Wp to twitter
    – youutbe sidebar wiget

I am using another wordpress on the same server and it’s working perfectly.

I have another site on the same hosting/server and it’s always online.

Are you sure it’s on the same server? Using the same host does not mean using the same server. Most hosts have sites spread across many servers.

Yeah they’re on the same server.

I have a wordpress site and a forum for the same domain name :

    Site : http://xxx.com/
    Forum : http://xxx.com/forum

But when I update a post on the site it goes offline for 2 mins. I check the forum (same domain) and it’s online. This happens when I post something on wordpress. So I want to see if I can install a new Fresh WordPress Install? and import all my posts and my theme? is that possible?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
