Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. A slow checkout page doesn’t automatically mean the issue is caused by this plugin. Most often a slow checkout is related to the following:
- A server setup that is not optimized or that’s not equipped to handle your site’s size or traffic.
- Not enough PHP memory being allocated
- Plugins that hook into the WooCommerce post payment actions and filters. This is usually the first place to start.
Kind Regards,
anyway to test whats causing issue ? thank you reply
I reviewed your site and I observed very slow load times for shop page, product pages etc. That would indicate the performance issues are related to your server setup.
If you’re using a hosting provider I would recommend contacting them and asking if they can run a trace which will provide performance insights.
Kind Regards
Hi me again according to web hosting can I get some more help , maybe there is something else slowing down site ? : The checkout console error is due to this plugin, will suggest you to don’t use that and replace that with some other plugin, checkout is slow due to that plugin.
Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce
What hosting company are you using? Based on their response they didn’t actually research the issue.
- I just reviewed your site and I don’t see any Javascript errors from this plugin
- Javascript errors don’t cause slow webserver load times.
- This plugin isn’t the reason for slow load times across your site
What evidence did this hosting company provide that it’s our plugin that’s causing slowness?
I reviewed your site just now and observed significantly faster load times. Our plugin is still installed .
Kind Regards

Looking at the Stripe logs, I can see that the API requests from your site to Stripe are taking about 1 second. That tells me that the slowness is due to 3rd party plugins that hook into the post payment process. It could be an external API that one of these plugins calls.
What I recommend you do is disable all plugins except for Stripe and WooCommerce and perform a test payment. Observe how long it takes and if there is a significant decrease then you can track down the slow plugin using process of elimination.
Kind Regards
