I’m having the same problem. In slideshow mode, I see no images. They don’t appear in the DOM at all.
I am seeing JS errors:
Uncaught Error: HierarchyRequestError: DOM Exception 3
jquery.js:2
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Please try this:
Go to Settings -> Permalinks and cick the Save Changes button. This will refresh the rewrite cache.

I am having the same issue, saving the permalinks at settings did not work to fix it. Do you have any other suggestions?
