How big are the pictures in the slideshow and how many are their?
Is this just the one slideshow that is doing this?
When did this start?
Was it working at all?
Did this happen after an update?
Hi z-m-b
At first, many things are ok. The slideshow uses a javascript code , which in turn makes a callback. So far, this is working as expected (even though no images are displayed). A manual invoke on the callback with the given parameters returns correct JSON info. I would discard the case where is misconfigured and I could suspect that something is going on on the javascript side.
We would need to simplify the scenario, since currently the page has more than 20 javascript files running at the same time and maybe there is some conflict preventing the plugin to work properly.
Hi z-m-b,
I detected that javascript related with the plugin wasn’t loaded at all.
That’s why the plugin isn’t working.
I still don’t know the reason.

big THX 4 your help!
you said, that the related js wasn’t loaded… so i remembered, that there are some relevant settings in the image grid plugin i use!
i have found the right setting, see here:
wrong image grid plugin settings:
-> nextgen
–> remove usually unnecessary NextgEN files from the page
(To speed up loading, you can choose to disable NextGEN’s scripts and styles. However, if you use NextGEN anywhere on the site without JIG or for any other reason you need those files, just let them load.)
—> Yes: Prevent its JS and CSS files from loading.
right setting:
—> No: Let them load (I’m using NextGEN without JIG somewhere)
now it works fine, thx again!
regards zmb
(i uses the actual nextgen version before (2.0.xx) and it was slow like hell… so… a big bow for you plugin, it helps alot for speeding up the site!)
Hi z-m-b,
glad to help you. Thanks to Websiteguy too!
I guess is the right time to make a wikipedia with these incidents…
By the way, could you tell us what is the plugin exactly?
Thanks!
