Slideshow: Featured Page – text color

    My website is http://25.parafiakarwiny.pl/

    I have a problem with text color in Slideshow: Featured Page #1 – as you can see, on my page the backround is, originally, black – but the text (not the header – it’s like white) is dark too. It makes the text almost invisible.

    On your demo site https://demo.ilovewp.com/faith/ it looks different – widget “About us” has a gray text, and it looks good, you can read it good, on the black background of the widget.

    I wanted to change the Main Text Color (on the whole site) into dark, I prefer it as it is easier to read – but that makes the text in Slideshow: Featured Page #1 (“About us”) almost the same as this widget’s background.

    How can I change the text color in Slideshow: Featured Page #1 (make it gray – as it is on your demo site https://demo.ilovewp.com/faith/), without changing the basic Main Text Color?

    Hello,

    It looks like this might be caused by the AddThis plugin.
    Can you try disabling it for a minute? Check if that fixes the issue.

    You were right.

    Disabling AddThis solved the problem.

    Now the problem is – how to turn on AddThis without having such a problem?

    The plugin interferes with the theme’s HTML markup, which means that some CSS rules are not applied correctly.

    You could try fixing it by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and adding this:

    #ilovewp-hero .content-aligner { color: #fff; }
