Hola and Kia ora – hmmmm, Hola – have a question. We’re using the “showtime” theme and it uses a inbuilt image slider.

FOr some reason the slider is not working, I’ve installed it on another server/host and it works find.

The designer said it might be a htaccess issue or timthumb issue regarding permissions, I’ve made everything related to these (cache/content/etc) 777 but still no go 🙁 any other ideas, I really like the theme but this is killing me.

I’ve emailed the host to make sure they’re running the right version of PHP but can anyone suggest other things to check out?

    Many many thanks!!

Compare configuration of other server with your current server and see what can be done with current server for theme to work. Or, ask tech support of your current webhost why theme is working with other webhost.

If you still can’t find a resolution and the theme designer cannot help you, then I would suggest you ask for a refund for the Showtime premium theme.

Thanks so much Mercime 🙂 – it was a permissions error, I got in touch with the host and whatever they did fixed it, here is what they said,

“This does look like a permissions issue. We have set your httpdocs folder to 755 permissions recursive to all subfolders (777 not permitted on shared hosting)”

Very relieved and again thanks for replying :)!!
