    Hi there,

i’ve a problem with this really nice theme. When I create a page with a slider (template is set to: Alt_HomePage, with Static Slider) everything functions pretty well.

The problems comes, when i want to change the slider! I can’t change pictures, I can’t delete pictures, I can’t add any pictures. The slider – after actualizing – looks always like the first one setted up?

Even when I cancel all the pictures the first setted up slider exists.

When I change the template to “StandardTemplate” the slider (for sure) doesn’t exist on this page. When I turn back the template to “Alt_HomePage, with Static Slider” the slider still exists with the first added pictures. But no pictures are in this page added???

    Has anyone a solution?

  • For more Information … i deactivated all plugins (ai1ec, lightbox plus colorbox, Plugin: Kontakt) … the problem with the slider still exists?

Got an answer from the theme developer!

    >> This is a known issue related to the way WP associates images with posts. To remove images completely you need to delete them from the media library altogether and then they will not show up in the slider. I realize this is an inconvenience, so we have more recently changed the way this works such that you can use a regular WordPress image gallery to manage what images show up in the slider…so rather than adding images directly to the page, embed a regular WP gallery to the page and the template will use this. You can change the images in the gallery and this will be reflected in the slider.<<

I can’t get them to change to something new. Do you have to remove the page as well as the images before the gallery option will function?

Yes … I’d to create new pages to fix this problem!
