I understand your logic.
Did you try leaving width at 1170 and adjusting the height using Customise>Content>Front Page-Slider Options-Set slider’s height in pixels=300?
Hello,
I haven’t made any adjustments to the width as I’m unsure how – is there a way to do this or check if there are any adjustments?
Right now, the custom height is set to 300 px. I tried testing the slider with a variety of image sizes (listed below) but I haven’t been able to find the optimal size that works in the slider.
1170×300
1170×500
702×300
702×280
702×220
702×225
So far, the on that seems to cut off the least is 702×225, but I’m just trying to understand what exactly is the optimal size so I can design accordingly.
Thanks!
Hello!
I just wanted to follow up with you regarding the above. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can adjust the slider?
Thanks!
Please post your site link here.
Thanks.

Currently I just have one photo up there as an example. The size is 702×300 and the slider is set to 300 px.
THanks!
Sorry can’t help. This themes CSS is a mess. Needs to be cleaned up a little bit.
Like I said, just a suggestion, don’t take it to hard if there are any theme authors here.
Okay, thanks. I’ll wait for someone else’s assistance.
Did you try Global>Image settings and UNCHECK Dynamic slider images centering on any devices?
Hello,
That doesn’t seem to effect the size, just the responsiveness setting. I’m guessing the closest size is 702×225 but if there’s an “ideal size” I can figure out that would be great!
