Hi! The problem with your website is, that you have different Smart Slider 2, and Nextend versions installed. Probably the update indicator wasn’t turned on for Smart Slider 2:
http://smart-slider-2.helpscoutdocs.com/article/521-wordpress-update
and the Nextend plugin doesn’t need it to update it. These two plugins are only working with the together released versions, so you should delete them both, your sliders will stay, install them again (you can download it from our website: http://secure.nextendweb.com/ ), and after installation go to our global settings:
http://smart-slider-2.helpscoutdocs.com/article/647-global-settings-general
Cache, click on Refresh Slider, and it will be fine again.
When I go to the website to download, the button is titled “discontinued” and I can not download the latest version of slider 2. I have a key that is expired but I see no way to renew it. Your site is saying I can renew for $15, but I see no way to renew from the links you provided. Am I forced to use slider 3? I think it said the old slides are not compatible so I would have to start over?

Yes, we are not selling Smart Slider 2 anymore, but please write to me here, and I will send it to you: support@nextendweb.com
Smart Slider 2 and 3 are two different plugins with different options and animations, and it is not possible to make the same kind of slider in both of them, so if you would ever choose to use Smart Slider 3, you would need to create new sliders with it.
