Are you referring to the banner header area? Absolutely…the Live Demo site can give you a better view and you have the option of using the WP header feature, using a widget to load an image or even a slider into the Showcase banner widget position.

You would choose what slider you want to use and then follow their instructions on how to publish it. Some offer their own widgets and others have a shortcode that you can put into a text widget.
