slider change not showing

I have cherry based theme. There is a slider on the home that I updated with new slides and deleted others. When I am WP mode, I see my changes OK but when I log out, my changes are not registering. I don’t get it! I tried to update the image name on the FTP hosting backend, but I can’t find the files!
This is what I tried so far: cleaned the cache, removed my cache plugin
I get around WP and can do some coding modification but I am a developer.
Any help is greatly appreciated it!
