Recently, my MetaSlider, using coinslider has started acting quite weird. Ie at the moment it’s displaying the same image 4 times.

Anyone know why this may be? You can see what I mean here:

The MetaSlider is telling me all the images are still original size, though the other slider plugins that MetaSlider uses come up distorted when used which implies that the images have been resized in the library. Shouldn’t the size readout on the thumbnails be “live”?

So the actual images are still the right size. So it seems to be a problem with that slider.

    Hi Sam,

It looks like it’s working to me at the moment – has anything changed?

When you say the image was repeated 4 times, do you mean the same image was repeated 4 times on one slide (tiled) or do you mean there were 4 separate slides? Coin slider isn’t responsive so you need to make sure all of your source images are at least the same size as your slideshow – otherwise they will be tiled.

The size on the thumbnails is the original/max image size for the slide. I can see it might be confusing, but I think putting the ‘live’ size there might also be confusing, so I’m not sure what to do about it. I may just remove them (originally it was intended that I could put a little warning in there to say ‘watch out – this image isn’t really big enough to be used in the current slideshow’)

    Regards,
    Tom.

The images were tiled, every slide is the right size. I managed to fix it by just rolling back the site and doing all the many updates one by one and that seems to have sorted it for now.

    Thanks,
