Hi check the images links. Maybe they dosn’t work, or empty, or dosn’t exist.
Or try another slider, “Smart slider” is ok.
Hi oderasworld. The slider uses the post Featured Image. If the post doesn’t have a Featured Image then the theme displays the default image placeholder.
Thank you for your reply. All my post have featured image. that is the image inserted in the post from Gallery before publishing. About smart slider, is that a plugin?
that is the image inserted in the post from Gallery
The Featured Image isn’t inserted in the post. You add the image in the Featured Image section at the bottom of the sidebar in the post editor. If you don’t see the Featured Image section, click on the Screen Options tab at the top of the screen and then select the Featured Image option.
Oh my it worked. Thank you so much!!!!. can I reduce the size of the slider? or do I have to reduce or increase the size of the image to affect the size of the slider? I feel like its too big
The slider is designed to display images in landscape orientation. You can reduce the size of the slider using CSS but it will still be tall because your original image is in portrait mode. You could also force it to be shorter using CSS but then your image will be “squished” down and way out of proportion.
ok, thank you for helping.
You’re welcome. Feel free to open another topic if you have other questions.
