skip lines in editor

Hello,

When I write an entry in the editor, I sometimes skip several lines by pressing enter (visual mode). Then when I publish, there are no skipped lines anywhere in the entry. How can I FORCE, say, 3 skipped lines to show up once I hit “PUBLISH?”
