Skin theme color & footer

Hi there!
Very nice theme but…
I really would appreciate if you’d let me know how to change the theme colour and the footer. Should fit with my own colours 😉
I’ve looked around, searching the style sheet but I couldn’t find a way to manage. Your advice here (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/a-few-tweaks-1?replies=5) didn’t work for me – no such #000000 colour found : /
