• When I previewed my most recent post, “skim tags” popped up for one particular term in the blog post — “renewable energy”. (The skim tags linked to pg.com) Then I realized that skim tags have appeared for the same term in a post finished last week and already published. The tags weren’t there when I published that blogpost. If I go to my website directly (rather than through the dashboard preview and view function in WP admin), I don’t see anything.

Since the tags aren’t visible on the website, I don’t know if the link will help, but here it is http://www.smithenvironment.com The most recent blogpost on renewable energy shows the skim tags when I view it through wpadmin.

  • Have you tried:

    – using another web browser? Or another computer?

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

New problem — Now I can’t access the WP dashboard at all (not directly and not through by web host control panel. I get and error message saying “An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-login.php could not be found on this server.”

Did you try any of the steps I posted above?
