i have 2000+ products but the xml sitemap @ https://www.divithemeexamples.com/product-sitemap.xml shows only 1001. with the last product being from oct 2016.

tried turn off, clear cache, turn on sitemap in yoast settings but no joy.

what am i doing wrong!

or should i just delete all the children sitemaps i have submitted to search console and replace with the 1 sitemap_index.xml ?

It’s possible that it’s a caching issue if the sitemap didn’t dynamically update. You can refer to this article for more information — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-does-not-update/

We recommend that you delete all of your sitemaps in Google Search Console and only submit the /sitemap_index.xml. You can refer here — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

thanks, yes i saw this was also recommended in the google docs… have done so… waiting for everything to show as indexed again. thanks
