    Apologies to hear that. Another user reported that there was a clash with one of the function names of another plugin.

    I’ve changed the function name in my code from shorten_url to ssba_shorten_url.

    Thank you, David. The plugin now works except there is no url when sending a post to twitter.

    Ok that’s an improvement at least!

    I know what’s causing that. I’m just off to a parents evening, I’ll have it sorted in the next hour or so.

    Indeed I did want to know lol. I appreciate you letting me know in a kind manner and for being patient.

    It turned out to be completely different to what I had anticipated it would be:

    Since the update 378 links have been shortened on bit.ly and the limit was exceeded! I need to code a way that the URL’s are only shortened upon sharing, as at present it takes place when the page loads.

    I’ve just released another update that will use the full URL if bit.ly is unavailable.
