• I have a small problem with the XML sitemaps function of this plugin, currently we are running the site on HTTPS, so every page is automatically a HTTPS page, the problem with this is that your plugin is linking to a HTTP page on the sitemap links, this means that once accessed the various sub-sitemaps go to a 404 instead of the actual sitemap.

I don’t know if this is because we are auto-forcing HTTPS or if it’s a problem with the plugin, so it would be great if you help us sort it out.

    Thanks,

Did you ever solve this ?

I am seeing the same issue. I’ve just switched to https – I’ve updated the site and home URLs, I have 301 redirects from http -> https, all working as it should. The http version of my sitemap redirects to the https correctly, but all the URLs it lists are http. I am not using a cache plugin, so not sure what could be going on!

In case it helps future Googlers – it’s a day later and my sitemap has switched over to listing https URLs. I had assumed the sitemap was live, generated on demand, but it seems that’s not true and it just takes some time for it to be regenerated with the updated settings.
