• Hi there,

Last week my blog was down for a day as I was having to fix a 400 Server Error.

After, when collecting some data I noticed that my page views were down to just 655 one week and just 21 the following! Compared to my usual 1500+. I also know this is wrong as I had linked a post to email which recieved far more clicks.

My total page views had also decreased compared to previous weeks…

Anyone know why this may be or how to fix the data?

I am looking at my site stats page.

    Thanks!

Do you know where your site stats are coming from?

    Hi there,

I’m looking at my page views within my Dashboard.

    Does that help?

Try deactivating your plugins to explore whether any are responsible. If none are then these stats are coming from your theme or another third party service

I’m rather hesitent to do so due to previous server errors.

Does anyone know what else it could be/how to recover the stats?

    Thanks,

You need to find out what system you are using for stats so it can be fixed. And if what you were using to record site traffic was not working during the down time, you will not be able to recover missing stats, as they won’t exist. If you’re talking about blog.muddypuddles.com, you’re using Google Analytics, and it is working.

    Ok thanks.

I’ve noticed that my page views this week are still down on what they are usually?

    Coudl this be an error?
