site slows down since latest update

Hey

I have your plugin installed on several of my sites.

I have updated your plugin on the 19th with the latest update 2.4

Seems like several of my websites have experienced longer page generation time since the update.

I have verified it by reverting one website to the older version which resulted in previous metrics for page generation times.

This metric has affected my pages to session metric. That was how I find out about this issue.

Now that I have reverted it, pages per session metric are back to normal.

Please look into what is causing this issue.
