    I have downloaded the YOAST SEO plugin and it works perfectly fine for every page except the home page.

    For some reason the result shown on “Google” for the home page is not similar to the result shown on the SEO of the backend site. For every other page the text shown on the backend also appears on Google.

    Could the title of the “Home” page somehow be overwritten by a default setting I did not see?
