Hi there, I got a question because at the moment I try the free version and I would much like to buy the paid one. BUT. I can’t manage to get one of my website menus on the tutor LMS pages like dashboard – courses and so on. I really need the menu also on that pages. If that is not possible I cannot use or buy the paid version. Thank you very much!!

    Hello @tomathen,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Do you mean that website header is not displaying on Tutor LMS pages, such as Dashboard or Learning Area? If so, you can enable it from WP Dashboard > Tutor LMS > Settings > Design > Page Elements > Header & Footer.

Give this a try and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,

Hi there Nafiz, thank you for your quick reply. Yes I ment that and you are of course right, I also found it now. But there is still a small problem. I managed to display the menu on the Tutor Dashboard. I wonder how the correct one was chosen there, because I have two menus, one for the “open” website and one for the member area – store (woocommerce) and normaly also for the tutor area. Now, my last problem before buying the paid version. As told on the dashboard I got the correct menu. Going to the /courses/ page I get the wrong menu. I need to choose the proper menu on those pages. Is that possible? Thanks again!!!

Ok, I found the solution for my two different menus. My last question, very important because now I want to buy the paid version, my settings will all stay the same? There will be no changes regarding my settings done in the free version? All will be the same, just more options in the paid version, right? Because I really changed a lot of things i.e. in child theme function.php or with custom css and JS. Thank you very much!

    Hello @tomathen,

Glad to hear that you found the solution for menus!

Regarding upgrade, your existing settings will remain unchanged. Nothing will be reset or changed unless you manually change the settings. May I know what type of customizations you have made?

Hi there Nafiz, thank you very much for the confirmation. Great!!!

I replaced the tutor /courses/ page with the WooCommerce shop page (because I already customized that page. Changed the /dashboard/ page a lot, and for example I also had to add a connection selling one product on Woo – releasing 10 learing modules on tutor. Such things. And the great thing is, all works fine until now, so I can buy your plugin! Just two things I am not that happy about but ok, with the menu it is kind of tricky (sticky does not work) and to add a full width “hero” under the menu is also only possible with some code. So thank you again Nafiiz! Have a good weekend!! Tom

    Hello @tomathen,

I am glad to hear everything is working well! Please note that your site menu is not controlled by Tutor LMS. It’s behavior and customization depend on theme or page builder you are using, so sticky menu and full width hero section would need to be handled there. Also, please make sure your customizations remain up to date and compatible with latest plugin versions in the future.

    Have a great day!
