Site is down after using new theme

    Hi,

    My site http://www.reidtur.is went down when I tried to changes the child theme – now I can’t even log in to redo the changes.

    Can someone help me to find a solution to this urgent problem.

    Try accessing your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully resolve the issue for you.

    But what if /themes/ dose not exist?

    I get to /wp-content/ but there is no theme…

    You must have some themes folder somewhere. Does it have a different name perhaps? Maybe wp-themes, theme, etc.

    What folders are imminently under the wp-content folder?
