I have tried all options that I can think of. I have researched it. The themes forum doesn’t work. I have tried over five or more different css coding suggestions that I have found in my research. I can’t find an option that will work. I have tried everything I can think of on my wp admin… Please I am asking please… If anyone can help?

without access to view the site and inspect the current CSS code, volunteers on the forum might not be able to offer useful suggestions.
which theme forum have you posted your question in?
I went to the forum for my theme… “Services” and it takes you to a separate website, and on the site I tried posting. It was a few weeks ago, so I don’t remember fully, but it didn’t let me post and it seemed as if I needed to go pro with the theme.
I don’t want to put my site to public yet, but if it helps that much. I can with a simple click. Thank you for posting. Let me know if you see my reply, and I can go ahead and make it public. I just don’t have much information on it yet. The design is good though, except a few font style changes… š

I see all of this for the site title..is any of the font information correct?
#site-title a {
font-family: "HelveticaNeue-Light", "Helvetica Neue Light", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, "Lucida Grande", sans-serif;
font-size: 30px;
font-weight: bold;
color: #fff;
text-decoration: none;
line-height: 40px;
display: inline;
}
which one is the proper font for the site title?
Normally a fallback font is needed, but it seems like you have too many fonts applying to one element.

I’ve been trying to change the font and nothing has been working. Pasting any examples of coding others have used in the custom css. As well trying to under the fonts tab under customization in the appearance section.
All I know is that it said Helvetica in one section when I was looking…
Maybe if I post that in the custom css and erase both helveticas, and change them to “one” of what I want it to be?

can you remove all customizations to the fonts that you have tried?
can you remove the font plugin?
do you have have a child theme set up for customizations?
where are you adding the new CSS for the site title?
what is the exact font you want to use for the site title?

I have added fonts under the already installed custom css. I also erased the coding that I put in that section. The only plugin I have is “Google Fonts”, in which it doesn’t seem to have anything that does anything for the title and tagline area. I can delete it and reinstall it later if needed. I used it to change my header for my pages and my main text.
I have no idea how to do a child them. I’ve read some stuff on it but t does my head in. Under the “appearance” and customization section there is pre-installed area for the custom css that reads “additional css”.
I’m not sure what font I want to use, I need to see how it looks and try a few out… š

It would be helpful to select one font to use while you are trying to learn how to make changes in the font.
Child themes are important if you plan to make customization to your theme beyond CSS.
also helpful to install code to the functions file to change the font.
if the plugin you originally selected is not helping you accomplish your task, perhaps try a different plugin.
another idea is to ask in the plugin support forum for assistance.
(i do not normally use a font plugin to add google fonts. i generally make the change using a child theme.)

I really just wanted to make the title to be a bit italic or slight cursive like… Just a bit more flowing… The tabs are fine…
Plugin deactivted… “Indie Flower” is the font I was trying to use as the example somewhat close atleast to what I was looking for…
