Site Description

    If you Google search my URL http://www.gettinoutdoors.com, Google shows the proper site description. If I try to share my URL on Facebook, Facebook generates a snippet all about my hosting provider, not MY site description. What gives?

    Perhaps you could ask Facebook about this. I’m afraid that most of the time FB does its own thing and does not honour <sarcasm>little things like meta descriptions</sarcasm>. It causes no end of frustration to many site owners.

    I agree. I have to wonder though, where FB is pulling that info

    Search me! FB seems to act as a law onto itself.

    had to get FB to re-crawl my site. it Worked!
