Hi. I’m having a real mare with something I simply cannot work out.

Using Oshine theme, I’ve created a store and everything looks as it should (Screenshot minus any custom CSS – https://ibb.co/4KTHv46 ).

However, when viewed logged out of WordPress ALL of the CSS has gone and it’s a mess (see page link). There’s no CSS and it’s demanding a login at the top of the page. What on earth is going wrong here? I’m pulling my hair out here, I can’t even find evidence of this happening before.

It’s not theme specific as I’ve switched to 2015 to check and got the same results and it’s only happening on the store page. This only happens when logged out!

Any pointers will be greatly, greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Andy

You have a ton of errors. I would disable plugins and figure out the bad coding in header. 3 jQuery issues there.

Some plugin, some coding is disabling all your css. I can’t find a single file.

Can you be more specific please? I’ve recently taken over this site for someone so I’m not really sure what she’s done in the past. Where are the jQuery issues to be found?

Thanks for an impressively speedy response too

Sure. If you know how to use console you can inspect any and every page.

This get page thing makes me think something’s not coded right here too.

In fact when I’m on that page alone, source shows me there’s no theme, no nada. I should be seeing a theme in source. So something isn’t connected right.

On this page I can see what theme your using

oshin-child theme being used. On the /store page it breaks.

How was that Store page created? In WordPress as STORE? As a PAGE yes?

    Thread Starter Andy Woggle

    (@andy-woggle)

Yep! Created a page with just a header image and then saved. Chose that as store within WC settings!

    This is utterly bizarre

Switch to the parent theme. See if it still displays wonky.

How does the header image display or get called for that area in this theme? Using featured image or custom field?

    Thread Starter Andy Woggle

    (@andy-woggle)

It’s just an image at the top of the store page. Created a page and added an image, then chose that for the store

Added using the page editor? Image Widget?

    Thread Starter Andy Woggle

    (@andy-woggle)

Yeah, the page editor although I’ve tried without and got the same result

    Stef

    (@serafinnyc)

Ok. Well switch over to parent theme. See what you get.

It’s weird that the rest of the site works fine and this doesn’t at all!

    (@andy-woggle)

I’ll do that and get back to you.

    Thanks Stef

    Nope. Exactly the same

    (@serafinnyc)

Well. You guys have a login on a page that typically wouldn’t be a login for WC. By default my-account is the login. However you got the login fields there or security plugin that’s most likely the cause

There was iTheme security installed when I took this over but I deactivated it as it was getting in my way….
