Single repetitive posts

My site is http://www.kicksndaisies.com/ and my question is regarding the number of posts shown on the home page. Currently, every single one of my posts are shown on my homepage, and when you click on the “older posts” link (on the bottom), the same posts that show up on first page repeat themselves in the following “older posts” page. For instance, five of my oldest posts show up on both my homepage, and repeat themselves on the following page “older posts” page. How can i change that so only like ten posts show up on my homepage and when you click on “older posts” link, the rest of the posts show?
Under “settings” category, and “readings” there was an option that said “Blog pages show at most” and i said for it to be 10. It is also said, “Syndication feeds show the most recent” and i again chose 10. It did not work and i cannot find the setting to change the number of posts shown on homepage…suggestions?

Also, i was wondering if it is either good or bad to have more SEO sites working. Currently, i have SEA “all-in-one” plugin from WP, BlueHost “Attracta” program,…and I’m thinking of using Google Analytics. Does anyone have any suggestions which one is best to use? or should i be using all of them, or only one?
Quick question-what area do i plug in the provided code for Google Analytics? Do i embed it into the style.css?
