Single post disappearing at random

    Hi,

    I’m using pods with WPML, and have been experiencing this issue for a while now. At times a single post pod template doesn’t load. The rest of the web page loads except for the specific pod template which contains the content of the single post. I have already updated the wpml settings suggested by pods support and also applied a patch which solved the issue temporarily. However the issue persists and there isn’t a clear way to replicate this. Can someone kindly suggest any alternative solutions please, or perhaps inspect the issue in more detail? Sometimes clearing pods cache does solve the problem, however it’s inconvenient to stay clearing cache every time, and regardless, it is still likely that there is an underlying issue here.

    Is there anyone that can assist with this?

    It seems that apart from clearing cache, updating the wpml translation or resaving the post does make it become visible again. However I would still like to find a permanent solution for this.

    Similarly to your post regarding a similar challenge last year, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/singular-template-disappearing/ , a GitHub issue may be a better venue to work towards a solution due to the technical details necessary to identify the exact cause.

    Via https://pods.io/submit :

    • Are there multiple caches in use? What are they and which sub-features are enabled? Is Cloudflare in use? Is a host-specific cache in use?
    • Is it possible to recreate the issue in a staging environment?
    • What is the exact page template and theme, and how is the template loaded into the theme?
    • WP Health Check report in WP Admin and Pods Package export can provide many of these, but it seems like the exact environment may be a key piece of information in addition to overlapping plugin configurations.
