• Can anyone give me some advice or resources where I can get information on creating a WordPress theme for a Single Page Website? One that keeps everything (except Blog) on one page and the navigation just scrolls the page down to the content.

    Like this site:

Personally, I’m not a fan of these types of sites, but the client gets what the client wants (or I fire them).

    Anything special?
Seems like it uses Ajax and/or Javascript(JQuery).

Anyone know of a free template that works like this I might be able to deconstruct?

    Thanks for any help.

  • It doesn’t matter if you want a 1 page site or 1,000 pages, the place to start is Theme Development.

Thanks esmi. I guess I was really just looking for any ideas on setting up the home page template to slide through all the static pages keeping them on one page. Like that example. Maybe an Ajax or JQuery solution.

    Thanks for your help.

Your best bet is to try looking for a free theme that does this kind of thing already.
