Hi! I am not happy with the new view and structure of the single-event.php.
Is there any solution / tutorial for helping to get the old design back?

    Thank you

    Paul

  • Hey @paulmaier,

    Thank you for reaching out!
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused by the new look and feel of the single event view.

As you can imagine, our goal was precisely the opposite: harmonize that view with the rest of the calendar’s design.

Unfortunately, on several themes, the end result was far from satisfactory (as you know).

There are a few ways to go about this:

    1. Style the Single Event view to your liking using CSS tweaks on top of the Tribe Events Styles – you will need to override the current styles
    2. Style the Single Event view to you your liking starting from scratch by using your own CSS via the Skeleton Styles (Events > Settings > Display)
    3. Give this extension a shot: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/the-events-calendar-tweaks/
    4. Add the following constant to your wp-config.php file to override the new changes

Let us know how that goes,
    Geoff
