Simply brilliant!

If you’re looking to move from jwplayer or searching for an up-to-date, well-maintained WordPress self-hosted video solution then this is it. It’s like jwplayer in the old days (pre jwplayer 6). The support is excellent and it keeps getting better with every regular update. I had invested a lot in jwplayer and stuck with version 5 for as long as possible before the new pricing model and move away from self-hosted clients. Since jwplayer decided to follow the ‘pioneering’ path of the now-collapsed Sublime Video model their WordPress plugin has withered in comparison to what it used to be (3, 1-star reviews in the past year and 2, 5-star reviews by Ethan and Jeroen from jwplayer itself). Cloud or YouTube-hosted videos may be fine for some but, if you want complete control and ownership of your videos, self-hosted is the way to go with delivery by Fv Flowplayer. It’s based on the excellent Flowplayer html5 video player which Folivision has wrapped in beautiful features and add-ons to make it so much better. I’m so giddy about it because I really loved jwplayer (and put off transferring over 60 videos for as long as possible) until I had to eventually move on, research/test lots of alternatives, and finally discover Folivision fv player. Keep up the good work guys. 😊
