Simplify theme homepage…how to change language???

Hello, forgive me for my english and for my questions….I read a lot about different way to create a multilingual site. Finally I found Polylang and I’m really satisfied. My only problem is my homepage. With the D5’s theme Simplify, you can set your homepage options through the theme options. The thing that I don’t understand is how can change my homepage: when I switch the language I’m able to change the menu, but not the text in the page(there are 3 different feature box that link to others pages) and the slogan etc…The only way to obtain also a different homepage that I’ve found is to have another wordpress installation in a different directory…
Do you have a solution? Is there something that I’m not able to understand(….a lot perhaps…) and you can explain to me???
