Simple Slideshow Please!

Hi everyone! I have installed several Slideshow plugins lately but unfortunately, none of them do what I would like. I of course tried to work something by myself but I’m not a coder so the result was not great…

If I post a message here it’s because I read many comments on the internet and many people are looking for the same thing, under WordPress. I explain how would look the simple slideshow:

Main image:
Get the first image from the content
Insert the title (layer) over the image
Link to the post

Side menu:
Show the first image from content (no need for a plugin, resized by CSS)
On click the big image shows
Insert the title (layer) over the image
Link to the post

The simpler, the better. No need for downloading files, no smooth effect, nothing but the simple thing.

I am not asking for someone to actually write such a plugin but it would be great if someone could give me a hand on that. I thought it was simple but everything I found is way too complicated for my little personal blog.
