Simple, looks nice, but each user?

There seems to be somethings missing…
I can see where a calendar is ‘assigned’ to a user.. but it seems everyone can see it. I need each users own calendar to be only theirs.
Can that be done?
What I need is a simple calendar type (this is great) for each user to place their own ‘to-do list’ and places they need to be.. privately view-able and editable by them (and of course an admin can trump in).
If this will already do that.. how?
