• I updated to 3.0 and have verified (by deactivating LearnPress) that this upgrade seems to adversely affect other plugins.

    Of note:
    * With 3.0 installed, the Catchers Helpdesk system cannot display attachments inline with tickets. Deactivate LP3, and the attachments reappear.
    * With 3.0 installed, WP Project Manager cannot display any tasks in any projects. Deactivate LP3, and the task lists reappear.

Please fix ASAP or make a downgrade available. This plugin conflict is significantly affecting our daily operations.

As point of reference, the 3.0.1 release did not fix these problems.

    Hi jegillikin,

Our team is focusing on LearnPress itself first. It needs to be more stable after the big update (2.x to 3.x).

We will check those conflict later. Meanwhile please request support from those authors too.

    Regards,

    Ken

    Hi, Ken.

The problem isn’t with the other authors; the problem is with LearnPress 3.x. Other developers cannot fix bugs with your product. Please don’t ask me to do that again.

My suspicionis that in your upgrade, you’ve done something that affects how core WordPress exposes files based on user permission levels, and you did not take into account how other plugins might be adversely affected by your tweaking of the file-permissions system.

Is it possible to obtain a downgrade to the last stable release of the 2.x line?

    Hi jegillikin,

You can download old versions of LearnPress here https://wordpress.org/plugins/learnpress/advanced/

We just need time to check/resolve those conflict. I will let you know.

    Regards,

    Ken
