• Hi,
I am wanted to install the Sidebar widget: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widgets/

    but it says:
If you are running WordPress 2.2 or later, you do not need to install the Widgets plugin. Widgets are now part of WordPress core. You can proceed straight to the WordPress Widgets Blog to find some widgets to try out.

I can not find anything in the admin that let me organize the sidebar.
    Please help thanks!

    Charlotte

  • Under Presentation, you should see a Widget tab.

Change your theme to the WordPress Default 1.6 Theme and then under see how the Widgets work.

    Administration > Presentation > Widgets

    Hi,

thanks actually I am not sure it will help when my sidebar is not customized.
Can you have a look at http://www.thailandliving.se

I just want to be able to organize my categories into groups with a headline to each.
    Righthand side, categorise under Innehåll.

How can I do that in an easy way?

    Thanks..
    Charlotte

There really is no way to ‘categorize/group’ categories except to assign Parents to the Categories. Then they will get listed under their corresponding parent.

That´s sad….. the problem with Parents is that categories can not have the same name even they have different Parents. ….
