Sidebar management help

I’ve been using Custom Sidebars to create unique sidebars for each post. It’s working fine but the number of new sidebars I’ve created is getting out of hand. Plus I have to keep creating the same basic widgets over and over again.

My questions are:

1. Is there a plugin that lets me copy and paste widgets while still using Custom Sidebars?

2. Is there a problem with having “too many” sidebars?

I’m concerned about changing plugins that let me do multiple sidebars just because of how many I’ve already created. I’d hate to lose them.
