Sidebar displaying on pages/posts?

    My sidebar displays only on the main page, not on individual posts or pages. Is this normal, or is this a bug?

    Can I change this by getting using a different theme or editing something?

    Some themes don’t display the sidebar or just do a reduced one on internal pages.

    A quick looksee at the k2 theme in the sidebar.php file shows that it’s doing a lot of checking to see where within the blog it’s at. All those is_home calls.

    I don’t have a testbed handy to try recoding it so I can’t help you with that. They have a support forum but for some reason I can’t get the search to work.
