• Hi all, apologies in advanced. I am not a web developer or anything of the sort so if I have got my terminology all wrong or if none of this makes sense please let me know and I will try and rephrase. Thank you so much in advance for any help or insight you may be able to provide.

I am running 2011 Child theme on my wpsite. I have been using the showcase template when displaying my pages. I have tried widening the default width of the page, which I somehow managed to do.

I have been trying to get the sidebar to appear throughout my site. I have now got it displaying, using the ‘showcase template’ but the sidebar is outside the borders of the page. My page can be seen here: http://www.hannafordimmigrationlaw.com.

If I change the page template to the ‘sidebar template’ then it displays correctly, see http://www.hannafordimmigration.com/immigration-services/humanitarian-visa-types/ but I prefer how the ‘showcase template’ looks. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get the sidebar to appear within the page borders when using the ‘showcase template’?

    Thanks once again.

  • I think the only difference between the showcase template and the sidebar one is one has the sidebar.

Hi webbrewes, thank you very much for your thoughts. If you click on the two links you can see that their is a difference in the two (title s showing and format) and both have the sidebar now. Only the showcase template sidebar is displaying outside the border of the site and the sidebar template is displaying the sidebar correctly. Do you have any suggestions on how to get the showcase template to display the sidebar within the borders as the sidebar template does?
