Sidebar Accordion Widgets

    Hi,

    I’m trying to tidy up my sidebar,
    Want to have a chat widget in the sidebar but closed by default.

    I had a plugin that made every widget in the sidebar have an accordion effect,
    Like a menu but each widget has an open/close option, you could pick which
    widget or widgets you wanted open by default, add an icon to each widget/menu.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    This is a feature request and not a support request for an issue with WordPress.

    Most developers would write javascript or jquery to make a widget box open or close. That is custom development or something a 3rd party plugin might provide. It’s not a core feature of WordPress, therefore it’s not something that would be resolved in this forum.
