    Hi,

    Thank you for your bug report 🙂

    That was a bug, and it will be schedule fixed in the next release on the next month.

    If you want to fix it now, try this:

    1. Open easy-custom-auto-excerpt.php
    2. Go to the line 865
    3. Replace that line with this:
      $holder_str = preg_replace(‘/[`!@#$%^&*()_+=\-\[\]\’;,.\/{}|”:<?~\\\\]$/’, ”, $holder_str);
    4. Save the changes
