Can I have some advice please?

I am using an ad group of all image banners (400 x 60) which I have uploaded, and have set the placement to be a shortcode, and set it to display all of the adverts in a random order.

If I use default settings the banner adverts correctly appear two to each line, centered, but there is no gap at all between them.

But if I enter a margin, even just 1 (and on any side), now the banners all stack vertically, one per line, despite there being ample space to fit them in, on desktop view.

How might I go about formatting them, so they appear like this:

    [banner] – space – [banner]
    [banner] – space – [banner]

    Instead of

    [banner][banner]
    [banner][banner]

    Thank you for any suggestions.

If I go into Firefox and inspect elements, where two banners are next to each other but with no gap, and manually enter a margin on left and right it correctly spaces them out. Yet as above if I enter a margin in the options for the ads, it makes them all display on their own line.

This is a very powerful plugin for random single adverts from a pool but I am finding the options to list all adverts in a pool and format them, challenging (another issue being, if I use rich adverts instead of graphics, I cannot get the output centered at all!).

    Hi vin55,

thanks for reaching out. Let’s focus first on the sorting in rows issue, looking at the centering afterwards.

Advanced Ads Pro extends the ad groups about the grid function, where you have more control over the positioning and margins.

Building this with the free version would also be possible. I suggest using the features Gutenberg provides here, creating two columns and injecting your ad group via manual or widget placement in both. This creates the wanted behavior and gives you the control over the columns and margins through the page editor.

Regarding the centering issue, please share a link to the page where the ads are placed, and I will have a look. Maybe I am able to spot the cause for this behavior.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi @vin55

I hope all is well. Are the ads now appearing as requested?

    Best regards,
    Henning
