Showing audio link metadata on post?

    Hi, Is there a way to show the audio link last updated date on an audio link? When the audio file is replaced that the new upload date shows on the websites? I need the website visitor to know when files have been updated without having to update the date each time. Other people replace audio files and can’t change the text themselves. Thanks for any help. I have been looking for shortcodes or css all day and can’t find any answers.

    Hi kimber254,

    Where is the “Last Updated:Fri…” metadata being pulled from?

    Are you manually writing that under the link to the file in your current approach or are you using a plugin to achieve this?
