Show ‘Read more’

    This is probably a newbie question but do you need a plugin to show ‘Read More’ after you post a long blog?

    Our posts are typically technical and very long. Surely there must be a way to show only ‘X’ amount of words and then a “Read More’ link would appear, but how?

    No need for plugin: it is built in. Insert the “more” tag where you want to break the text – it will display automatically the “read more…” link.
    The “more” tag should be above the text input area.

    THANK YOU so much rudolf45! I was looking everywhere for how to do, it but never thought about looking on top of the text box. Thanks again 🙂
