    We use WooCommerce and would like to display the primary category in the breadcrumb for our products. According to this help article it should be possible: https://yoast.com/help/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs/

    But when we show the Yoast SEO breadcrumb on the product pages it only shows “Start > Products > Product Title”. The main and sub categories are missing. Also when changing the primary category nothing happens.

    How can we solve this issue?

    Hey there @binok!

    In order to show the category in the Breadcrumbs you first need to enable this.

    You can easily enable it by logging into your WordPress administration panel and then go to:

    SEO -> Search Appearance

    Here make sure you have enabled breadcrumbs and under “Taxonomy to show in breadcrumbs for content types” choose the “Category” taxonomy for products. Click on “Save changes” and everything should work perfectly.

    Hi @binok,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    As @codexbuilder mentioned, can you please check the setting under SEO > Search Appearance > Breadcrumbs (tab) and check if you have the ‘Category’ configured for your Products.

    Looking forward to your reply.
